Does KAZA UNIVISA have permission to entry from all of the ports in Zambia?
In particular, the KAZA UniVisa is only valid at certain entry locations and does not authorize admission from all ports in Zambia. At Zambia's ports of entry, travelers can utilize the KAZA UniVisa:
- Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka
- Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport in Livingstone
- Victoria Falls Border Post
- Kazungula Border Post
This visa allows for multiple entries between Zambia and Zimbabwe, as well as a single day trip into Botswana through the Kazungula border. If travelers enter Zambia through a port that is not listed, they will need to apply for a different visa type.
It’s important to note that if your first point of entry is Zimbabwe, you must apply for the Zimbabwe KAZA UniVisa instead. The KAZA UniVisa is designed to facilitate tourism in the region, allowing visitors to explore both Zambia and Zimbabwe conveniently within a 30-day period. Therefore, while it offers flexibility for travel between these two countries, it is limited to specific entry points.
It's important to note that while the KAZA UNIVISA is valid for multiple entries within 90 days, travelers should confirm the specific entry points available at the time of their trip, as regulations can sometimes change.
