Zambia opened an electronic visa application facility

Zambia is known as one of the safest places in the world to travel, and its kind people live in peace and harmony. Zambia offers wonderful vacations to discover the real Africa. Zambia is blessed with amazing natural beauty, a wealth of wildlife, enormous water bodies, and large open spaces.

In October 2015, the Zambian Ministry of Home Affairs introduced an electronic visa application system. An official document allowing admission into and travel within Zambia is an e-Visa. It serves as an alternative to visas issued by the ports of entry, Zambian missions abroad, and Immigration Headquarters. Visas are issued to applicants electronically once they provide the necessary data and pay with a credit card or debit card.

The processing time for this four-step visa application is between a few hours and three working days, and applicants can monitor the status of their application online.

In accordance with the new visa regulations, nationals of 205 countries who qualify may submit an online visa application, giving them the opportunity to learn about Zambia's rich past and enjoy its friendly people. To apply for a standard tourist visa, people from other nations must go to their nearest embassy or consulate.

Reminder: E-Visa applications cannot be submitted by those under the age of 16. If taking an under-16-year-old person, they must be listed on the adult's application while making the application.
