Do I Need to Print My E-Visa to Zambia?

Yes. Travelers to Zambia are required to print a copy of their e-visa and present it upon arrival. Presenting a physical copy of your e-visa upon arrival is often a standard procedure to ensure smooth immigration processes and verification. We highly recommend to travelers that you should print at least 2 copies of your electronic e-visa in the event of loss or forgetfulness. However, it is recommended to check the latest guidelines and instructions provided by the Zambian Immigration Services or embassy in your country to confirm the current requirements regarding printing e-visas for Zambia. If you are a first-time visitor who applying for a Zambia e-visa, you must meet some of the Zambian requirements below:

  • A passport that is valid for at least six months from the date of entrance into Zambia is one of the required papers. 
  • Your registered email address will get the e-Visa approval when you submit your online application. 
  • A colored digital photo of the applicant is required
  • The Zambia tourist e-visa requires a flight ticket for a return journey 
  • Hotel reservations or the invitation letter from the host with his/ her passport
  • The Director-General of Immigration's formal letter.
  • An invitation letter from the business that will host you while you are in Zambia;
  • A letter from your firm with your trip itinerary, residential address, and contact information addressed to the Director-General of Immigration, with letterhead carrying your company's name.
