Can I apply for a Zambia e-visa if I am a minor?
Yes. Zambia requires all foreigners of all ages, except citizens from visa-free countries, to obtain a valid visa for entry. Travelers planning to visit Zambia and who are minors should be aware of specific regulations regarding the Zambia e-visa application process.
Individuals under 16 cannot apply for an e-visa independently. Instead, if a minor intends to travel to Zambia accompanied by an adult, they must be included in the adult's e-visa application during the process. Therefore, while minors cannot apply for an e-visa on their own, they can still travel to Zambia when their application is submitted and processed in conjunction with an adult's application. The application form on Zambia Immigration Services enables up to 15 applicants to complete the application process. This makes it convenient for a group of people to apply for a Zambia visa.
With a few simple steps, foreigners can complete the visa application easily:
- Step 1: Check your eligibility whether you are eligible to apply for a Zambia visa online. Then, complete the online application by providing some personal information.
- Step 2: Pay the application fees using one of these payment methods, such as Debit/ Credit Card, American Express, or PayPal
- Step 3: Send us some supporting documents via email and get the confirmation email
- Step 4: Receive a visa through email. Don’t forget to print out the e-visa before departing to Zambia.
