Can applicants under 18 years old apply for a Zambia visa?
According to government restrictions, visitors under the age of 18 are not permitted to utilize the eVisa system. Instead, they might have their parents or legal guardians apply for a visa on their behalf. If there is more than 1 child, they must have their own separate passports and visas. In order to apply for minors, parents should on behalf of their child fill in the visa application form with their child's information including full name, D.O.B, nationality, and passport number.
Their application process will be registered in the name of their parents or legal guardian. Your electronic visa application may need a few additional documents related to the identification information of passengers under 18 years old, such as: birth certificate, copy of the birth certificate and consent letters from the non- traveling parent(s) or legal guardians, if applicable. It's essential to review and update the latest requirements from the official Zambia Immigration Services website or contact their embassy, as regulations can change.
